Destilla honoured again as “Top Employer Donau-Ries”
Destilla GmbH has once again been awarded the prestigious “Top Employer Donau-Ries” label. During an official ceremony hosted by the DONAURIES Economic Development Association on 23 October 2025 in Münster, the family-run company received the award for the second consecutive time.
Since 2016, the association has recognised outstanding employers in the Donau-Ries region with the “Top Employer Donau-Ries” seal. This year marked the tenth award ceremony, with 28 companies honoured in total. The certification is valid for three years, after which companies must undergo a new evaluation process.
Commitment to people and sustainability
Steffen Dollmann, authorised signatory of Destilla GmbH, accepted the award on behalf of the company. The certificates were presented by Silvia Burgmaier and Jörg Eyrainer, members of the association’s advisory board.
“We are delighted to receive the Top Employer Donau-Ries award once again,” said Dollmann. “It reaffirms our ongoing commitment to a respectful corporate culture, sustainable practices and the continuous development of our employees. This recognition is a shared achievement by our entire team.”

The certification focuses on lived corporate culture. To receive the label, companies must meet seven key criteria:

The award ceremony was opened by District Administrator Stefan Rößle, Chairman of the DONAURIES Association, and Laura Turbany. A highlight of the event was the keynote by Bastian Bärenfänger, expert in New Work and corporate culture, titled “Human is the next big KPI.” He emphasised the essential role of people in an evolving working world and shared inspiring insights on leadership, teamwork and psychological safety.
